Jeff and Jennifer
Happily married on August 10, 2002 at Gateway Christian Church in St. Louis, MO

This is about the only semi-serious shot of myself I've ever been able to pull off. Too many years of show choir. I smile like crazy when I'm nervous!

Our Wedding Party:
Girls' dresses were designed by Jennifer and
made by Rita (aka Mom)

This is a good shot of the back of the girls' dresses.
The older girls had a draped back, while Savannah,
my junior bridesmaid, had a v-back style that
resembled the "big girls". My junior bridesmaid and groomsmen were Cooper and Savannah, the precious babies I nannied for all through college. :)

Would it really have been any fun if everything
had been taken care of beforehand? That's just not
how we do things! Here's mom, one hour before the wedding, making my veil...we made just about everything-flowers, invitations, decorations, dresses-
and were functioning on about 6 hours sleep in the
past 48 hours! Whew!

The kiss! (Ew!) I thought this picture was a nice
shot of the church. The ceremony and reception were held at my home church, Gateway Christian, which I attended from 4th grade through August 2002, when I moved to New Orleans.

I thought this was a decent full-length shot of the dress.
I designed it and my mommy made it, including days of
hand-beading! The color is candlelight and the bodice is a
simple strapless style made of double-faced satin that was
absolutely WONDERFUL feeling. The skirt was several
layers of organza. Beading was done with clear bugle beads
that had a silver center to give them a little sparkle.
There's also a "Made with love by my mommy" label in it. :)
Total cost for the dress: about $100. We are thrifty ladies,
what can we say?
Thank goodness for a talented mommy and fabric sales!

Almost forgot the cake! This was adapted from a
cake I saw in Martha Stewart Weddings. Our monogram is on the front if you look real close.
And special thanks to Sharon (Cooper and
Savannah's mom) for adding the flowers.
They were the perfect touch! :)

Our minister was Kevin Pigg, my youth minister from
4th grade through high school,
and one of my all time favorite people!

This is my darling family! I love them to pieces!

From left to right: Doyle, Jennifer, Rita and Toby

My college roomies (and talented musicians!)
We were lucky enough to have them play at the wedding!

From left to right: Jenn, Jeff,
Jennifer, and Lisbeth (pronounced Lees-bet)

This is Jeff and I with Robin, my maid of honor.
She's one of my best friends and she also was my roommate...
the only one brave enough to deal with me all 3 years! :)

Jeff's Family:

From left to right: Larry and Carol White (dad and mom),
Jeff, Jennifer, Lorraine Whitmore (Carol's mother) and Eric
(Jeff's older brother)

I was lucky enough to have all of my grandparents attend.
From left to right: Perry and Dorothy Cozadd (dad's parents),
Toby (my little brother), Doyle (dad), Jennifer, Jeff,
Rita (mom) and Willma and Ken Murphy (mom's parents).

Jeff and Cooper (our junior groomsman):

Cooper's my favorite little man.
I babysat for him all through college.
I love my kidlets!

Jennifer and Savannah (our junior bridesmaid):

Savannah is my baby. Ok, maybe not,
but I've claimed her as my own. She is Cooper's big sister
and I also babysat for her all through college.

This is one of my favorite shots of my daddy :)
And, of course, he's sporting his Sony camera strap.
He can't be seen without it!

Finally, one of my favorite pictures.
My smirk is because Jeff was tickling me
through all of the pictures. Grrr...but at least
he knows how to make me smile! :)
